 OverClock

I don’t like to increase the power supply if it doesn’t necessary. I got 1050 MHz GPU, 2100 MHz Shader, 5100 Mhz of memory which it doesn’t the full speed that this card can be made. With this speed is doesn’t have the problem when used in reality.

Conclusion !
PALIT GeForce GTX550 Ti SON stills the middle level card. Although it is the overclocked version it stills can’t compare with the performance level card. But it can support your game, full HD movies Guarantee.

The Disappointed bundle because only the manual and the driver.

PALIT GeForce GTX550 Ti SONIC Detail

At First sight it is the lower level graphic card, it doesn’t aggressive not beauty but when you close your case lid, you won’t find the problems now.

The original Red PCB from PALIT. At the bottom side your will see lot of electronic parts which make this card more interesting.

The heatsink doesn’t have the heat pipes (The heat which the GTX 550 Ti made isn’t much it will only increase the price) and it look like the old Intel heatsink. The orange fan original by PALIT again.

Standard 2 ways SLI port.

6 pins power supply ports.

Nowadays graphic cards are support DVI, D-sub and HDMI including this card. Don’t buy one that doesn’t have those slots.
The simple power supply. Old standard moss phase fusion with Solid capacitor. Actually Old moss phase can over peak better than LowRDS.

SlimComputer 1.0
You know what? When you are downloading a shareware program (like winxmp, daexon-tools lite, etc) guest what? You got a freakin toolbar with you.
It is very hard to eliminate that junk. It harder than delete the main program, which because the developers need us to use it.  I’m not only one who doesn’t want that shit. Look! Why you need it, almost browser already got a better search toolbar for you.
If we have the same problem you got to have this. It is SlimComputer 1.0. It is made for search and eliminates the programs that hard to delete. It will classify the programs for you which have toolbar, app, startup, and shortcut. Including the brilliant tune-up function for you.

Overclocked Ability

Super extract mode but it doesn't too stable.

Max SuperPi 1M@4762MHz

Isn't much different from the other boards test.

 Max Frequency Validation @ 4862MHz

It doesn't feel so much impression. It feel like other X58 series board when compare with Rampage III Extreme I think it is the actually same board. No highlight spot for this board. Still the strong point of ASUS board is 3D quality which the result is shown in 3DMark. Although it just okay in 2D but it still good.

Thunder Bolt card is something. Faster network system, headphone amp, Op amp which made easily to change. And it is interesting point of the mainboard. Okay
the board is a great chioce if you want X58 series Hi-End motherboard but if you already have Rampage III Extreme I think it only waste your money.
