SlimComputer 1.0
You know what? When you are downloading a shareware program (like winxmp, daexon-tools lite, etc) guest what? You got a freakin toolbar with you.
It is very hard to eliminate that junk. It harder than delete the main program, which because the developers need us to use it.  I’m not only one who doesn’t want that shit. Look! Why you need it, almost browser already got a better search toolbar for you.
If we have the same problem you got to have this. It is SlimComputer 1.0. It is made for search and eliminates the programs that hard to delete. It will classify the programs for you which have toolbar, app, startup, and shortcut. Including the brilliant tune-up function for you.

Isn't much different from the other boards test.

 Max Frequency Validation @ 4862MHz

It doesn't feel so much impression. It feel like other X58 series board when compare with Rampage III Extreme I think it is the actually same board. No highlight spot for this board. Still the strong point of ASUS board is 3D quality which the result is shown in 3DMark. Although it just okay in 2D but it still good.

Thunder Bolt card is something. Faster network system, headphone amp, Op amp which made easily to change. And it is interesting point of the mainboard. Okay
the board is a great chioce if you want X58 series Hi-End motherboard but if you already have Rampage III Extreme I think it only waste your money.

OCZ Platinum XTE Edition

Platinum XTE
OCZ
Add to cart
Specs: Capacity: 4GB (2x 2GB, dualchannel);
Rated frequency: 2,000MHz
(PC3-16000); Timings: 9-9-9-24;
Voltage: 1.65V; Warranty: Lifetime

Developed with Intel’s Sandy Bridge
platform in mind, OCZ’s Platinum
XTE series is low-voltage, dual-channel
memory that is built for overclocking.
The DIMMs feature OCZ’s low-profile
but girthy Xtreme Thermal Exchange heat
spreaders, which are designed to provide
optimal heat dissipation. Indeed, even while
clocked at DDR3-1600 with 7-7-7-16
timings and running benchmarks, this 4GB
DDR3-2000 kit maintained its temperature
well; our infrared thermometer showed little
or no temperature increase.
Running on an Intel DP67BG board
with a Core i7-2600K, the OCZ kit hit
21.58GBps of peak bandwidth and 60.5ns
latency in SiSoft Sandra’s memory tests at
1.65V and with the above-mentioned clock
speed and timings. (Stock scores running at
DDR3-1333 with 9-9-9-24 timings were
14.49GBps and 76.2ns, respectively.)
At $75.99, you could do a lot
worse for a Sandy Bridge memory kit,

especially considering how well it
can overclock.

ASUS Rampage III Black Edition Review (2)

Onboard sound system is controlled by Realtek chipset ALC889 series. It produce SupremeFX xFi 2 which support EAX 5.0 and produce THX Truestudio Pro which give full entertainment sound.

Another controllers are Intel WG82567V for the network system(Gigabit Ethernet level). NEC D720200F1 for USB3.0 (Back I/O Panel and Front Panel). Marvell 9182 PCLE for SATA 3.0.

THUNDER BOLT Card

An extra Pci-e 1x slot. It is made for the thunder card which is made for gamer ^.^ .
It can be the network card (The network chip is from E-KILLER which called ” Big Foot Network”.It is faster than the one that on the mainboard. Because of E-KILLER’s network chipset doesn’t need to work with NIC system(from microsoft) and it can be release the load from CPU and Memory) and the sound card. It is controlled be E-KILLER E2100  chipset which has 1Gb memory

As you can see the network and the sound system are separated form each other. It prevent the disturb signal.

Op Amp can be modified.
